He (Irish) woke up and had some gummies, and somehow ended up in a forty-minute standoff with the umbrella, which he was completely certain had moved itself three centimetres to the left out of spite. He consulted his own reflection in the microwave door for a second opinion. his own reflection in the microwave door did not have one, which Irish took as confirmation he was right. A full investigation followed, complete with a "crime scene" perimeter made of couch cushions. The umbrella was eventually cleared of all charges on account of not actually being sentient, Irish accepted the verdict with grace, and the whole thing ended in a round of applause for absolutely no one.
