He (Irish) woke up and had some gummies, and — against everyone's advice — decided to give the umbrella a second chance after "last time." Things were going fine until the neighbour's cat pointed out, quite reasonably, that the umbrella had never actually done anything wrong in the first place. Irish considered this for a long moment, apologised sincerely to the umbrella, and the two were, by his account, "on good terms again."
